CALICROCODILE
CALICROCODILE is the sonic evolution of a decade spent in the deep end. Since first cutting tracks in a Chino, California apartment in 2009, the project has transitioned through a kaleidoscope of genres to find its home in the experimental bass scene. The music is a masterclass in contrast: heavy, crunch-laden percussion meeting the soulful warmth of gospel and jazz. Influenced by the rhythmic complexity of jungle and the raw storytelling of hip hop, CALICROCODILE crafts soundscapes that are as engulfing as they are melodic.
